Powertrain and Capability

The 2019 Ford Ranger will come standard with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine mated to the Ford class-exclusive 10-speed automatic transmission. No horsepower or torque numbers are available at this time, but this model should offer competitive power and fuel efficiency.

Ranger Trims and Packages

We know that the 2019 Ford Ranger will be available in SuperCab and SuperCrew body styles and in XL, XLT, and Lariat trim levels. Off-roading, Chrome and Sport packages will be available. There will also be eight color options and many wheel design choices.

Off-Roading Advantages

While every 2019 Ranger will offer attractive ground clearance, models fitted with the FX4 Off-Road Package will add off-road shocks, all terrain tires, a front bash plate, skid plates, four Terrain Management System drive modes and all-new Trail Control low-speed cruise control.

Elite Driver Assistance

In addition to its off-roading and interior advantages, the 2019 Ford Ranger will be available with a full complement of advanced safety features like blind spot monitoring, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assistance, rear sensors and even pedestrian detection and adaptive cruise control.
