Check out these tips on cleaning the interior of your vehicle

As they always say: clean car, clean mind! This rings true, especially for those daily commuters out there. All commuters know how unbelievably easy it is for dust, random spots of stickiness, and trash to build up throughout your car. While this is annoying, an easy cleaning regularly does wonders! We put together this post because we want your car looking good long after it drives off the lot. So Check out these tips on cleaning the interior of your vehicle!

  1. A small sponge brush can prove to be your best friend when dusting, wiping down, and cleaning your middle console and dashboard.
  2. Put a panty hose on the wand of your vacuum. This will allow small things to be sucked up, but valuables like a dropped earring are easily accessible to you.
  3. Mr. Clean magic erasers are perfect for all of those randomly sticky surfaces on vinyl, leather, and plastic.
  4. Diluted all-purpose cleaner + a sponge + washcloths = a DIY seat shampoo session!
  5. If you don’t have a chamois, try a coffee filter, it acts just the same!
  6. As you vacuum your car, use a paintbrush in the vents, around buttons, and all little nooks and crannies to draw dust out for the vacuum to suck up.
  7. To remove pet hair in upholstery, spray the seats with a mist of water, and apply pressure with a squeegee. The wet hair will stick to it like a magnet.
  8. Use olive oil to condition and polish up the leather on your dashboard.
  9. If you don’t have access to a Magic Eraser, Goo Gone works wonders on sticky surfaces.
  10. Baby wipes are an easy way to wipe down your windows and keep them clear.
