Drivetrain Options and Drive Modes for the 2021 Bronco Sport

Whether you select the base Bronco Sport or one of its available trim levels, this SUV will pack the capability and durability you need for traversing a diversity of terrains. Its standard 4×4 drivetrain gives every Bronco Sport the ability to take on the trail ahead and will feature five G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) drive modes. The five G.O.A.T. modes include Normal, Sport, Eco, Slippery, and Sand.

Advanced 4×4 with Twin-Clutch Rear-Drive Unit is available as an upgrade to the 4×4 drivetrain. With this advanced option, torque can be distributed to a singular wheel if the remaining three have lost traction. It can also send nearly all rear axle torque to either rear wheel that needs it most.

Another highlight you can look forward to is the available Trail Control™ amenity. Trail Control™ is a class-exclusive feature that is basically cruise control for off-roading. You set your preferred speed and Trail Control™ will adapt to the environment, such as diverting torque and even avoiding some obstacles, to give you the best performance.
