Places to camp in Minnesota

Spring is in full swing, and summer is right around the corner, believe it or not! As Minnesotans, we are fortunate to live in an area with endless beauty and landscapes which invite the outdoor enthusiast to enjoy just about any activity that comes to mind. Hiking, fishing, and good old fashioned sightseeing are among the outdoor options for us around here. Now that the weather is turning around for the better, we thought it might be fun to share a few places to camp in Minnesota which may be of interest.

Minnesota lakeBall Club Lake

Ball Club Lake features a mixture of recreational vehicle camping and cabin rentals. Enjoy a relaxing atmosphere near peaceful waters on which you can spend time fishing. Short-term and long-term rates are available.

Bear Head Lake State Park

Bear Head Lake State Park is nestled in the northern wilderness of Minnesota, and it is full of everything the Minnesota wild has to offer. Go for a hike, see some wildlife (and do so with care and caution), and take advantage of the 23 miles of lakeshore.

Flour Lake Campground

Set up camp at the Flour Lake Campground and spend time exploring the lake and surrounding wilderness. Take a hike through Superior National Forest, kayak or canoe on Quiver Lake, and enjoy loads of other fun outdoor activities here.

Wildwedge Golf and RV Park

Would you like an opportunity to golf while camping? Head on over to Wildwedge Golf and RV Park. Bring your RV and set up camp before heading out to the golf course to try to make par. Lodges are also available. This is a great place to enjoy a taste of two worlds!
