Auto High-Beam Headlamps

An option in luxury cars for more than a decade, Auto High-Beam Headlamps make driving in darkness that much safer. As the name suggests, these headlamps automatically dim and brighten depending on the presence of other vehicles and available light on the road. No longer do you have to constantly have your finger on the High-Beam button, clicking on and off throughout a long night-time drive in the country.

They’ll also help you follow the law- here in Minnesota, you legally must dim your headlights before oncoming traffic is within 1,000 feet and before coming up behind traffic within 200 feet.

Lane-Keeping System

The lane-keeping system can alert you to unintentional lane drifting and even intervene to keep your vehicle in the correct lane. Using a camera to monitor road markings, if the system detects unintentional drifting it will warn you and/or take the initiative to adjust the steering system. This will save you during those moments of carelessness or distraction that we all have.

Though many like to doubt self-driving vehicle innovations, humans are much more imperfect than we usually admit. Computers are simply more accurate and reliable in detecting issues, and have lower rates of malfunction, than our own brains. So stop doubting, and embrace the robotic future!

Adaptive Cruise Control with Forward Collision Warning

Adaptive Cruise control allows the driver to set the speed and distance they want to maintain from the vehicle in front of them. This brings cruise control to the next level of convenience, no longer having to constantly engage and disengage. Forward Collision Warning detects the threat of a collision and not only alerts you but can also begin braking if set to do so.

This system works great for stop-and-go situations such as rush hour traffic with lots of speeding up and slowing down. Previously cruise control was impractical in these situations, but no longer.

* Driver Assist Features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and need to control the vehicle.
