If you were born in the 1970s or 1980s or grew up watching 70s and 80s flicks, you’d have seen how the first Ford F-150 trucks looked. The 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition is a modern take on the timeless 1970s and ’80s two-tone exterior paint jobs and classic styling of the F-150 combined with the outstanding durability, capability, and technology of today’s F-150 that customers love.  

The 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition will be available exclusively on the F-150 XLT series of trucks. Its design represents a fresh take on the classic A-B-A exterior paint pattern seen on the F-150 from the 1970s and ’80s.  

In this unique color pattern, the roof and pillars will be finished in an “A” color option; a “B” color covers the midsection, while the bumpers, lower door, and lower body are again finished in the “A” color.   

As per a Ford press release, the 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition will be available in five A-B-A exterior color options:  

• Race Red midsection, with upper and lower Carbonized Gray  
• Atlas Blue midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black  
• Antimatter Blue midsection, with upper and lower Carbonized Gray  
• Avalanche midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black  
• Area 51 midsection, with upper and lower Agate Black  

The 2023 F-150 Heritage Edition’s interior offerings come in slate gray color and black to complement the expressive exterior colors.

The Heritage Edition also features distinct seat trim covers featuring unique inserts. An F-Series Heritage Edition embossing on the console lid further enhances the uniqueness of the F-150 Heritage Edition.

A white “75 Years” logo also appears on the upper center windshield, the center screen startup animation, and the center console. Apart from these cosmetic changes, the technical specs are identical to the F-150 XLT.
