2019 Ford F-150 Limited New Features

We are anticipating a fall release for the 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor, but now we have great news for drivers that long for the Raptor’s high-performance engine wrapped in elite luxury. One of the most mouth-watering of the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited new features will be the addition of the Raptor’s elite V-6 EcoBoost engine to the already cutting-edge technology advantages of this top trim.

2019 F-150 Limited Powertrain

The F-150 Limited already offered best-in-class torque, but it’s upping its game for 2019. Instead of the standard 3.5-liter V-6 EcoBoost that came on this trim level on the 2018 Ford F-150 (rated for 375 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque), the 2019 Ford F-150 Limited will enjoy the high-output V-6 that was previously only available on the Ford Raptor.

interior seating of the 2018 Ford F-150 LimitedThough this engine has the same displacement as the 3.5-liter V-6 it is replacing, it will crank out 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque. We don’t know at this point if the all-new diesel powertrain of the F-150 will also be available on this elite trim, or if there will be other powertrain options.

Other New F-150 Limited Trim Features

  • Dual-exhaust system with exhaust tips integrated into the bumper
  • Camel Back two-tone leather interior
  • Serial number on a laser-etched plaque on the center console
  • Improved seat cooling technology (enlarged microperforations for better ventilation)

Some returning feature highlights include SYNC 3 with AppLink (which enables Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot capability with 10-device capability, a 360-degree camera with dynamic hitch assist, available Pro Trailer Backup Assist, and a unique satin-finish grille.
