Ford Earns Honors at the 2018 SEMA Show

Ford drivers who enjoy adding accessories to their vehicles, whether that be a muscle car or a truck, can find plenty of options straight from the Ford company, and those options are always expanding. Each year, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas is a place where manufacturers bring their latest technology to show off, and Ford is no exception. How Many Mustangs Have Been Made?

The Ford Mustang has been the top-selling muscle car of the last half-century, and it recently hit the 10 million mark when it comes to production. Image that: 10 million bold, elegant, and take-no-prisioners Mustangs have been made for the roads since the model was first produced for the public in 1964. The 10-millionth Ford Mustang was a 2019 Wimbledon White GT V-8 with a six-speed manual and a convertible top. Ford Hybrid Vehicles to Abound by 2020

Ford recently announced big plans to greatly increase the number of vehicles it offers with a hybrid powertrain . The plans include not just tiny passenger vehicles but serious SUV and truck models. If you are wondering “Can you get a hybrid Ford F-150?” the answer at the moment is no, but we expect to see combined gas and electric pickups from Ford by 2020, which is exceptionally close. 2018 Ford Mustang photos Chicago Auto Show
Now that the 108th edition of the Chicago Auto Show has wrapped up, there aren’t many blockbuster announcements likely to come our way for a while. During the two weeks or so Ford was displaying its wares along Lake Michigan, Houston Ford was able to obtain a close look at a few new models including the 2018 Ford Mustang and Ford F-150 Shelby Cobra concept pickup truck. The new Mustang should be arriving at dealers like Houston Ford next fall. It’s unclear in what form the Shelby F-150 Shelby Cobra will take.
