Indoor Museums and Movies

Getting outdoors might be the most fun, but if it rains or is far too hot then an indoor activity might be a better bet. You can catch a matinee at the Lakes 12 theater in Baxter MN any day of the long weekend, or for $3 on Saturday you can enjoy the attractions of the Crow Wing County Museum and Library, which should be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Outdoor Activities

There are plenty of fun outdoor activities in the Brainerd MN area. Gregory Park and Lum Park are great places to throw a picnic or play, and more ambitious outdoorsmen and women may be interested in the Paul Bunyan State Trail, which stretches 120 miles and is completely paved.
