Taking care of your car’s tires is just as important as taking care of the rest of your car. Good condition of tires not only make them last longer, but it is also a great way to make sure you and your co-passengers are safe all throughout the drive. Ignoring your tires will not only lead to early replacement need but it is also a safety hazard. So, let’s make sure that your tires are well-kept for a longer and safer drive.

How can you tell when brakes need to be replaced?

The first thing to do is to make sure you rotate your tires on a regular basis. Mostly the tires should be rotated every six months but if you haven’t driven your vehicle much then you can go for tire rotations when your vehicle completes 5,000 miles. Second thing to keep in mind is the wheel alignment. If you feel your car is pulling towards one direction or your steering wheel is vibrating, then go and get your wheel alignment checked. It is advised to at least get your wheel alignment checked twice every year. And last but not the least, keep a check on your tire pressure. This should be done every month to keep you from having to replace the tires altogether.

Your car’s tires bear all the weight of your car and depending on the drivetrain the load is shared between the tires. If you don’t want to replace your tires constantly then make sure you take care of them. It’ll not only improve your driving experience, but it’ll also help in giving your tires a longer life.
